Join the EMA of BC for a noon hour webinar with the Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC). Topics will include regulations, key invasive species, and best practices. ISCBC will provide an overview on why invasive species are a concern due to their impact on ecological systems, the economy, and human safety.
The session will review key species of concern, with a special focus to southwestern BC, and recommended practices to reduce their impact on the environment. This will be an interactive workshop with time for dialogue and questions. As Canada’s oldest and largest provincial organization focused on invasive species ISCBC, has developed a full library of resources and offers many training opportunities, which will be outlined by a skilled and knowledgeable team.
