Pamela O is the Executive Director of the EMA of BC. She completed her BSc Hons and MSc at the University of Toronto and her PhD at the University of British Columbia. Her focus was on Arctic ecology, plant-animal interactions, and the effects of grazing on ecosystem CO2 balance. She specialized in goose and caribou grazing systems, spending seven seasons in Canada’s north. She has taught at both U of T and UBC and strongly believes in environmental education. Pamela wanted to continue in this field of education outside the university setting, so being part of the EMA of BC team is an excellent fit.
